Sam Tuesdays Sound ist rough, simpel, tight und feinsinnig – eine Mischung aus Indie, Dreampop, 80s, 70s und Folk.
Die Künstlerin arbeitet saisonal als Motorbootfahrerin, Expeditions-Guide und Eisbärenwächterin in der Arktis und Antarktis, die polarenLandschaften fließen musikalisch und visuell in die Gesamtästhetik und ihre Darstellung als Künstlerin mit ein. Die Reisen inspirieren sie zu neuen Songs, die sie dann mit dem Produzenten David Specht (Isolation Berlin) im Protopop Studio und fester Unterstützung der Sängerin Stefanie Mikus-Marx in Berlin aufnimmt, darunter auf der EP „Foreign Moon“ (2024), die mit positiven Kritiken aufgenommen wurde.

‘Sam Tuesday’ is an independent pop artist based in Berlin and Longyearbyen (Svalbard, Norway).
Sam Tuesday’s sound is rough, simple, tight and subtle – a mixture of indie, dreampop, 80s, 70s and folk.
The artist works seasonally as a motorboat driver, expedition guide and polar bear guard in the Arctic and Antarctic, and the polar landscapes flow musically and visually into the overall aesthetic and her presentation as an artist. The journeys inspire her to write new songs, which she then records with producer David Specht (Isolation Berlin) in the Protopop Studio in Berlin with the firm support of singer Stefanie Mikus-Marx, including on the EP ‘Foreign Moon’ (2024), which was received with positive reviews.
